Dr. Hellen James is the founder of UnifiedDogs, a website that helps people learn about the perfect dog for their lifestyle. She has been writing about dogs since she was a child, and she loves how dogs are always there to greet us with wagging tails and unconditional love.
Dr. James has a Ph.D. in veterinary medicine from the University of Florida and has worked as a veterinarian at Petsmart and The Humane Society of Pinellas County.
She has written for various publications including Pet Food Industry Magazine and American Kennel Club Magazine.
When she’s not writing or working as a veterinarian, Dr. James spends time with her rescue dogs: Golden Retriever rescued from an animal shelter where she was scheduled to be euthanized because no one wanted her because she had been hit by a car when she was younger.
